NEW ORLEANS, LA – Dr. Calvin Mackie, a visionary engineer, educator, and founder of STEM NOLA and STEM Global Action, was named a 2026 Louisiana Legend by the Friends of Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB). This prestigious award recognizes individuals making significant contributions to the culture, history, and development of the state of Louisiana.
