New Orleans, get ready to build, test, and HOVER!

On Saturday, August 8, 2026 (9 AM – 12:30 PM), STEM NOLA invites K–12 students to dive into the exciting world of The Force of Friction at Andrew P. Sanchez & Copelin-Byrd Multi-Service Center.

Participants in grades K-12 will discover the principles of friction, and design, build and test their own hovercraft! Thank you for being part of a community that keeps STEM education moving forward without resistance!
